The Flipper 717C is a small motorboat designed by the Swedish maritime architect Håkan Södergren together with Sigurd Isacson from Finland. The Flipper 717C is built by the Finnish yard Flipper.

Hull

The hull is made of fibreglass. Generally, a hull made of fibreglass requires only a minimum of maintenance during the sailing season. And outside the sailing season, just bottom cleaning and perhaps anti-fouling painting once a year - a few hours of work, that's all.

Interior

The interior is like most other boats made of teak. Teak has the advantage of being naturally very oily and therefore water-repellent, which is suitable on boats.
The boat is equipped with 5 berths, a galley and toilet facility.

Keel

The boat can enter even shallow marinas as the draft is just about 0.80 - 0.90 meter (2.62 - 2.92 ft) dependent on the load. See immersion rate below.

Engine

Flipper 717C is typically equipped with multiple engines at 200.0 hp (149 kW).

The transmission is a Z-drive.

The fuel tank has a capacity of 190 liters (50 US gallons, 41 imperial gallons).
