Hull

The hull is made of fibreglass. A hull made of fibreglass requires only a minimum of maintenance during the sailing season.

Interior

The boat is equipped with 4 cabins, 10 berths, a galley, 1000 liters (264 US gallons, 219 imperial gallons) fresh water capacity and toilet facility.

Rig

The Lagoon 570 is built with a fractional rig. A fractional rig has smaller headsails which make tacking easier, which is an advantage for cruisers and racers, of course. The downside is that having the wind from behind often requires a gennaker or a spinnaker for optimal speed.

Keel

The Lagoon 570 has been built with different keel alternatives.

Unknown keel type

The boat can enter even shallow marinas as the draft is just about 1.20 - 1.30 meter (3.94 - 4.24 ft) dependent on the load.

Bilge keel

The Lagoon 570 is built with a bilge keel. A bilge keel is a twin keel, which allows the boat to be beached. Bilge keels are the most popular keel for tidal waters.

Lagoon 570 can enter even shallow marinas as the draft is just about 1.40 - 1.50 meter (4.59 - 4.89 ft) dependent on the load.

Engine

The fuel tank has a capacity of 700 liters (184 US gallons, 153 imperial gallons).

The Lagoon 570 has been equipped with different engine alternatives.

Alternative 1:

The boat may be equipped with dual inboard Yanmar diesel engines

Alternative 2:

The boat may be equipped with dual engines at 112 hp (83 kW)..
