The Enter 360 Explicit is a sailboat designed by the Swedish maritime architect Bernt Lindquist in the late nineties. The Enter 360 Explicit is built by the Swedish yard Enter Yachts International AB.

Hull

Both the hull and the deck is made of fibreglass. A hull made of fibreglass requires only a minimum of maintenance during the sailing season.

The hull is a sandwich construction which improves the indoor climate. Especially when the water is colder than the air in the cabin, then the double hull insulates against cold water and reduce the condense water in the cabin. The core material in the sandwich construction is Divinycell.Divinycell PVC foam is a synthetic material which offers excellent mechanical properties and low weight. It is widely used and has a proven track record in marine sandwich composites.

Interior

The boat is equipped with 3 cabins, 6 berths, a galley, 120 liters (31 US gallons, 26 imperial gallons) fresh water capacity, toilet facility and 47 liters (12 US gallons, 10 imperial gallons) waste water capacity.

The interior is like many other boats made of mahogany. Mahogany belongs to the hardwood species, known for being water-repellent and resistant to decay. It has an attractive wood grain and holds wood polish and varnish well.

Rig

The Enter 360 Explicit is built with a fractional rig. The sail area for the mailsail + jib is 56.4 m² (607.2 ft²). A fractional rig has smaller headsails which make tacking easier, which is an advantage for cruisers and racers, of course. The downside is that having the wind from behind often requires a gennaker or a spinnaker for optimal speed.

Engine

The fuel tank, which is made of stainless steel, has a capacity of 55 liters (14 US gallons, 12 imperial gallons).

The boat may be equipped with an inboard Yanmar 3GM30F diesel engine at 27 hp (20 kW). Calculated max speed is about 6.1 knots
