Sailing characteristics

EU classification

Baltic 350 holds one CE certification:

If less than 5 in on board the boat is by European Union certified as Class C. INSHORE:

Designed for voyages in coastal waters, large bays, estuaries, lakes and rivers where conditions up to, and including, wind force 6 (Beaufort scale) and significant wave heights up to, and including, 2 m may be experienced.

Immersion rate

The immersion rate is defined as the weight required to sink the boat a certain level. The immersion rate for Baltic 350 is about 38 kg/cm, alternatively 216 lbs/inch.
Meaning: if you load 38 kg cargo on the boat then it will sink 1 cm. Alternatively, if you load 216 lbs cargo on the boat it will sink 1 inch.
